There's a tiny vestibule where you enter our flat. I've run power and ethernet to it and that's where a bunch of hardware lives, including the NAS. Except, at the moment there's a bit of reno going on there, so the NAS is in my office. Let me just say it is very, very obvious when one of the computers in the house is doing backups. Obvious and irritating. (Except, possibly, for some music, I prefer my office to be dead silent.)
