Symposium wrap-up

Volume 10, Issue 11; 04 Mar 2026

The First International Symposium on Invisible XML happened last week and it was great!

The First International Symposium on Invisible XML is a wrap. I think the format worked really well and all of the presentations were excellent. We got a solid turnout over two afternoons (local time; sorry, west coast of North America). I think everyone on the organizing committee is eager to do it again at roughly the same time next year.

As the post-mortem minutes show, we have some ideas about how to improve it. Let us know if you think we missed something.

On behalf of the committee, I’ve updated the the homepage and started adding links to speaker slides and other materials. We’ll put the videos up after post-production finishes.

I’m still interested in suggestions for where we should publish the videos. Personally, I’d rather not feed them to YouTube.

There were tons of interesting discussions and exciting ideas on display. Some of those have bubbled over into threads on the mailing list. Please keep them going!
