Thanksgiving Day hike

I thought I’d take another hike this afternoon. Because walking a few miles totally balances out eating half a turkey, right? I’m pretty sure those are the rules on Thanksgiving. Just to be extra safe, I’m making short ribs instead of turkey anyway.

This hike short-circuits a big chunk of my usual route with a little shortcut off Via Fortuna which proves there is a way out up on the hillside.

Posts with pointless GPS tracks of my walks make me feel like I’m at risk of earning a theme tune by MC Frontalot. But I persist, apparently. I’m using this snap of autumnal color as my excuse:
