Release miscellany

I always feel like release announcements make for rather dull and self important weblog posts, so I don’t write one for every release of every thing. (I am toying with a sort of unified dashboard thingy so that it’ll be easier to follow along with an Atom feed, if that’s your bag.)

I did just write one for the XML Resolver 6.1.0 release, because that seemed kind of important.

It was a bank holiday weekend, so I did a few other things too.

I finally finished a bunch of infrastructure grunt work on the DocBook xslTNG Stylesheets. That’s not a user-visible change, but the build now uses a modern version of Gradle, Kotlin build scripts, and a much simpler (though by no means actually simple!) configuration for XSpec testing. (Which I also upgraded to version 4.0.3.)

I haven’t mentioned XML Calabash releases in a while, but there have been a bunch since the last time I wrote about it here. I published version 3.0.54 today which fixes a couple of bugs. I’ve fallen (even further?) behind on my refactoring of some of the core bits to resolve some ugly scoping problems. But I still think about it regularly, which has to count for something, right? (Please don’t answer that.)

A couple of small bugs have accumulated on NineML since I published a fairly significant refactoring in version 3.4.0 about a week ago. Those aren’t getting any attention today, alas. But soon.

It’s almost 18:00 in this time zone and I think I hear a holiday Monday cocktail calling my name…
